Ideal job

Throughout my life I have had quite a few ideal jobs. First of all, I wanted to be an archaeologist and find the most amazing things about Athens or Rome. Then, my ideal job was to be a history teacher. After being a teacher, I wanted so bad to work in a history museum and explain everything that I knew. Later, I wanted to read and give my opinion about the books I had to read. Nowadays, I do have clear my ideal job and it is to work in publishing. I want to translate, read and edit books, specially historical novels. It is funny how mi ideal job is a combination of the dream jobs that I had in the past and two of my passions which are reading and history.

Poem

Fear of my wounds.
Fear of getting lost.
Fear of losing the ones I love the most.
Proud of my achievements.
Proud of saying no.
Fear of my choices.
Fear of not being enough.
Fear of the dark,
Proud of being madly in love.
Proud of giving it all.
Fear of the light.
Fear of solitude.
Fear of sadness.
Proud of my decisions.
Proud of my scars.

Free writing

Nowadays, due to the economic and employment situation in Spain many people, mostly young, decide to go abroad in order to find stability. It is not an easy decision, you leave behind a lot of things such as family, friends, food, habits, etc. Moreover, it means that you have to find a new place that you can call home and also adapt yourself to a whole new culture. But on the other hand, going abroad can be an amazing experiencie where you can learn and grow up as a person. It can help you improve your job skills and the most exiting one: learn a new lenguage. In conclusion, as a difficult decision it should be made freely, well planned and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of living in your country or abroad.
